Brooke and Jeremy’s love story began in the summer of 2023 when they found each other and connected through Instagram. Both working at UPMC, they instantly bonded and found comfort in their shared passion for their careers—Jeremy pursuing his general surgery residency and Brooke pursuing her corporate role at UPMC and working as a wedding makeup artist. They shared their first date together on June 7, 2023 at Casbah in Shadyside followed by a sweet stop at Millie’s for ice cream. Despite their busy work schedules, they found ways to be together every week from that day forward. Together, they share a love for adventure, traveling to new places, and building a beautiful future side by side.

In April 2025, Brooke and Jeremy went on an unforgettable Alaskan cruise with their families. Their first shore stop was Juneau, Alaska, where they visited the Mendenhall Glacier—a 3,000-year-old natural wonder carved into the mountainous landscape.

As they walked one of the nearby trails, Jeremy led Brooke to a quiet spot with a clear view of the glacier and Mendenhall Lake. Their families stood close by as he began to share heartfelt words that brought Brooke to tears before got down on one knee to propose. It was the perfect, once-in-a-lifetime moment to mark the beginning of their forever!
